‘We’re over two-thirds there’




With two thirds of funds already raised to build a new Shannon lifeboat, supporters
needed to be encouraged to raise the remaining amount of £640,000.

Due to RNLI's commitment to responsible marketing, we could only appeal to the
195,000 people who had previously opted in to receive information.

Almost 1 in 4 of those people responded to our DM pack, raising over £1.3m
and nearly three times our target with the help of Gift Aid.



he concept made donators aware that we were 'two thirds there' and that they could 'be the difference' – with a panel cut to reveal a third of the lifeboat still in production.
Every donation would contribute towards specific equipment, so this was shown prominently.


This DM pack was created during a 10-month freelance stint at Proximity London.
