Hey, I’m Dan

In 2009, I gambled on myself.
Taking out a £5,000 loan.
Against a £12,000-a-year job I was about to quit.
Having grown up nowhere near adland.
But with aspirations of a career in advertising.
It funded a move to London.
Where I could put my degree to good use.
And stop selling funeral plans over the counter of a building society.
Since then, I’ve given it everything I’ve got.
From placements. To jobs. To freelancing.
I’ve appreciated every opportunity I’ve ever been given.
And still do. Every brief. Every agency. Every day.
When you’ve made a leap like that, you want to make it count.
These days, I’m lucky to be a dad of two.
And a husband of one.
And it’s all about creating opportunities for them.
You can get to know me by talking about:
Glastonbury. I’ve been nine times.
LEGO. What’s not to love?
Live music. Or listening to BBC 6music.
My collections of vinyl and music photography prints.
Travel. Let’s compare bucket lists.
Sport. Football, rugby, cricket, F1 and golf.
I’m also dabbling with screenwriting.

Thanks for popping by.
